By accessing or using www.collegeindependencelab.com (the “Site”), purchasing any product, or participating in any program, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

If you do not agree, please do not use this Site or our services.

1. Services Overview

College Independence Lab provides:

  • digital tools (e.g., Readiness Check, Agreements, guides)

  • educational workshops

  • coaching programs (group and/or individual)

  • resources for families preparing students for college independence

All services are educational and coaching-based.

They are not therapy, medical care, or clinical treatment.

2. Eligibility

Our services are intended for:

  • parents/legal guardians

  • students typically ages 14–21 (participating with parent involvement when appropriate)

By using this Site, you confirm that:

  • you are at least 18 years old, or

  • you are a parent/legal guardian consenting on behalf of your child

3. No Guarantees

We provide structured tools, guidance, and support.

However, we do not guarantee:

  • specific academic outcomes

  • college success

  • behavioral or emotional changes

Outcomes depend on many factors, including participation, consistency, and individual circumstances.

4. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site, including:

  • frameworks

  • tools

  • worksheets

  • agreements

  • written materials

are the intellectual property of College Independence Lab™.

You may:
✔ use materials for personal/family use

You may not:
✘ reproduce, distribute, or sell materials
✘ use materials for commercial or training purposes
✘ create derivative products based on our frameworks

5. Payments

All prices are listed in USD unless otherwise stated.

Payment is required in full at the time of purchase unless a payment plan is offered.

We reserve the right to:

  • change pricing at any time

  • discontinue services or offers

6. Program Participation

For coaching programs and workshops:

You agree to:

  • participate respectfully

  • maintain confidentiality of other participants

  • not record sessions without permission

We reserve the right to remove participants who:

  • disrupt the group

  • violate boundaries

  • misuse program materials

No refunds will be issued in such cases.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

College Independence Lab™ is not liable for:

  • indirect or consequential damages

  • academic, personal, or emotional outcomes

  • decisions made based on our materials

Use of the Site and services is at your own discretion.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of those changes.
